Guest Speaker: Gene Strother

Gene is the President of Adjust U, the educational arm of its parent company, MidAmerica Catastrophe Services. Gene also serves as Vice President, Communications & Development of Mid-America.

Gene is responsible for casting the vision and guiding the organization in training, development, and communications.

Gene is a dynamic communicator and visionary leader. Gene entered the insurance claims industry in 2005, shortly after Katrina made landfall. His first assignment was as a field property adjuster in New Orleans. Since that initial indoctrination into the industry, he has served as team lead, manager, director, vice president, and president. Gene has been in leadership and communication roles in various industries and nonprofit organizations for over 40 years. His background as a speaker, writer, and teacher – coupled with extensive knowledge and experience in claims adjusting – uniquely qualifies him to guide one of the industry’s most exciting educational forces.
