Meet Our Guest Speaker: Terry Sutton, Director of Education at Stephens Engineering Consultants, Inc.

Consumer services in the insurance industry demand a steadfast commitment to transparency, fairness, and regulatory compliance. Ethical considerations encompass clear policy communication, fair pricing practices to avoid discrimination, and prompt, unbiased claims handling. Regulatory oversight ensures adherence to standards that protect consumer interests. Real-life examples can highlight ethical challenges and resolutions, emphasizing the importance of trust and integrity in maintaining strong consumer relationships.

Terry Sutton is the Director of Education and Senior Account Manager for Stephens Engineering. He focuses on establishing relationships with various insurance professionals and marketing the services of Stephens Engineering. He also coordinates highly regarded continuing education classes. He has presented at PLRB, NACA, Southern Loss Association, NAIIA, LCA, and claims associations across the country. He has served in full-time vocational ministry as a college adjunct professor, restoration specialist, and insurance claims adjuster. Terry has a B.S. In Human Performance from the University of South Alabama and a Masters degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a frequent speaker for claims associations and national and international conferences. He also presents to professional, civic, and faith-based groups. He has taught in five foreign countries and will add a sixth when he speaks this Fall at a conference in Zimbabwe, Africa.
